Jennie is an ethnobotanist, bushcraft practitioner, conservationist, closet poet and dog lover.

She has designed and delivered a variety of programmes over the past 28 years that support conservation and nature connection, from habitat restoration projects to projects that support the elderly with accessing the great outdoors. Jennie holds an MSc in Ethnobotany, is a Forest School/Woodland Activity Leader Trainer, Bushcraft practitioner, Environmental Education Consult as well as having certificates in Biological Recording and Herbal Medicine. In 2012 she was awarded the Glen Fiddich Spirit of Scotland award for contribution to conservation.
